Electric Monks are devices designed expressly to believe things, thus saving their owners the trouble of doing so. One such electric monk on a 'faraway alien planet' began to suffer severe malfunctions in its belief system and cycled through a series of ever more ridiculous beliefs. Due to these malfunctions, it was ejected from civilisation with only a horse, as horses are rather cheap to produce. It currently believes that its surroundings are a particular shade of pale pink and that an otherwise ordinary white door in the side of a cliff leads into a strange, new world.
